Kim McBrayer-Phinney is the founder and heart behind Space Cadets, a company built on resilience, compassion and the belief that order can restore peace in even the most chaotic seasons of life.

A visionary with an advertising background and an unwavering passion for people, Kim turned her own “messy beginnings” into a mission to help others find calm, clarity and confidence in their spaces. Her career began in event planning and evolved into one of the nation’s first residential organizing firms, earning her recognition as a Birmingham Top 40 Under 40 and a participant in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.

But it’s her personal journey that shapes her work most. Through loss, love and rebuilding, Kim has lived the transformation she now delivers for others. She leads a handpicked team known for excellence and empathy, serving homeowners, families and businesses with a blend of design precision and heartfelt care.
